New BlackBerry Venice Slider Renders Show Beautiful, Curved Display

Rumors of an Android-powered BlackBerry phone, the Venice, emerged a month ago which gave us the first glimpse of the world’s first Android-powered BlackBerry device. Today more renders of the upcoming device has leaked, which shows off the curved glass display of the upcoming phone, and how the BlackBerry Hub looks like running on Android.

The new renders also confirm the presence of a 18-megpixel rear camera, which is said to be the most powerful yet fitted in a BlackBerry device. The camera is said to have phase detection AF and optical image stabilization.

The BlackBerry Venice is expected to come with a 5.4-inch curved display (that’s apparent in the render above) alon with a 1440 x 2560 resolution panel, 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor and 3GB of RAM. It’s a slider, meaning there’s a keyboard underneath the display that’s revealed when you move the display upwards.

The phone is expected to be released this Fall in the US.
