Nokia Enters the Smart TV Race

It is part of HMD Global’s “Made in India” initiative

Going beyond smartphones and wearables, HMD Global expands its portfolio by unveiling its first Nokia-branded Smart TV in India.

Their inaugural offering is a 55-inch model with a 4K Ultra HD resolution and bezel-less design. The TV supports HDR10, Dolby Vision, Wide Color Gamut, and Intelligent dimming, with the audio provided by a JBL-branded 24w bottom-firing speakers.

As a Smart TV, the Nokia Smart TV is powered by a 1 GHz PureX quad-core processor paired with 2.25GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. It runs Android TV 9 out of the box and has dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth, 3x HDMI ports, 2x USB ports, and an Ethernet port.

The Nokia Smart TV is priced at Rs 41,999(~Php 30k) and will be available in India starting December 10.
