Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 AnTuTu Benchmarks Indicate Better Performance than Snapdragon 710

That’s in spite of using an 11nm process

There has been little talk about Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 675 processor since it was announced a few months back. To date, only the Motorola P40 and the recently-announced HiSense U30 are confirmed to use the said processor. In spite of using an 11nm process and not a 10nm process like the Snapdragon 710, the Snapdragon 675 scored higher in AnTuTu benchmarks with a near 175k score.

In comparison, the Snapdragon 710-equipped R17 Pro scored almost 170k in our tests. What makes the Snapdragon 675 better—at least on paper—is that it uses Kryo 460 cores that are based on ARM’S Cortex-A76 architecture. The octa-core processor consists of two performance cores rated at 2.0Ghz and six power-efficiency cores rated at 1.78Ghz.

Given its benchmark tests, it seems to be logical that the Snapdragon 675 is the logical successor of the Snapdragon 660, which turns two years old this year.
