Former Senator and current Philippine Red Cross Chairman Dick Gordon just posted on his Facebook page this photo of the Amphibian rescue vehicles being deployed to help with relief operations. Given the frequency of floods here in the Philippines, I think it’s time that the government looks into investing more into vehicles like this one.

How to Help

For those who are at home and are able to read this post, please do try to “box-in” relief goods. From what I’ve read so far La Salle Greenhills is accepting donations. Just go drop them off at the Ortigas gate. They’re looking for food that doesn’t need cooking (canned goods), clothes, blankets, and/or cash donations.
