2021 Marvel Movies to Hit Cinemas in the Philippines Soon

If you have been waiting to officially watch any of the new Marvel movies that came out this 2021 in the Philippines, here’s some good news: In a post by the Cinema Exhibitors Association of the Philippines (CEAP), they have revealed that five 2021 Marvel movies are slated to be released locally soon. These include:

  • Black Widow
  • Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings
  • Venom: Let there be Carnage
  • Eternals
  • Spider-Man: No Way Home

Among the five Marvel movies mentioned, Black Widow is the oldest, having premiered in other countries last July 9. Should things go well, Filipino moviegoers will be able to watch Eternals and Spider-Man: No Way Home in time for their global premiere date.

Aside from the five Marvel movies mentioned, CEAP also posted that the James Bond film No Time to Die will release in the Philippines as well soon. This follows after the IATF allowed cinemas in areas under Alert Level 3 to reopen, provided that they limit indoor capacity to 30% and that only fully vaccinated individuals are allowed to enter cinemas.

“The entire film industry is extremely grateful to the IATF for finally allowing us to reopen under Alert Level 3,” CEAP said in its statement. “However, we must do our due diligence by coordinating with the LGUs where our cinemas are located. This is to ensure that we comply with their detailed guidelines.” Aside from physical distancing, CEAP President Charmaine Bauzon adds that moviegoers need to wear masks at all times and that they are not allowed to eat inside the movie house.
