vivo Y16
The vivo Y16 is a good example of a budget phone that really makes the most out of its modest hardware to give the best possible performance–specifically when it comes to taking photos. With Y16, vivo went for a different route by focusing more on software optimization to maximize the capabilities of its hardware—a 13-megapixel main camera together with a 2-megapixel depth sensor – rather than focusing on mere megapixels. Nevertheless, it’s capable of taking clear and sharp photos.
The Y16 is priced at Php 6,999 for the 4GB/64GB variant and Php 8,499 for the 4GB/128GB variant. The 128GB variant will be available via vivo’s official website, Lazada, Shopee, TikTok shop and through vivo’s offline stores and kiosks nationwide.
WIKO 10
This is a well-designed budget phone with average internals but a decent camera setup. It comes with a triple camera setup at the rear that is led by 50-megapixel ISOCELL JN1 main camera with an f/1.8 aperture. This sensor is slowly becoming a popular choice among budget smartphones and we can’t blame them as it really offers good performance when it comes to general shooting conditions.
The WIKO 10 is priced at Php 8,999 for the 6GB variant, and is available at Shopee, Lazada, and authorized WIKO stores and kiosks.
Cherry Aqua S10 Pro 5G
Aside from premium features such as liquid cooling, wireless charging, and 5G connectivity, this phone comes with a quad-camera setup. The main camera consists of a 48-megapixel main, 5-megapixel and 2-megapixel depth cameras, and a 2-megapixel macro. There’s no ultra-wide camera though. As shown in the sample photos below, the main camera performs very well even in low-light scenarios.
The Cherry Mobile Aqua S10 Pro 5G is priced at PHP 7,999. It is available on Lazada, Shopee, and Cherry Shop.
narzo 50
The narzo 50 has a camera that will surely not disappoint, whether it’s daytime or nighttime. The only problem is when you zoom, that’s when it loses its sharpness. The main camera is composed of three cameras: a 50-megapixel main and two 2-megapixel stuffer cameras. While we don’t mind the two 2-megapixel cameras, the main camera definitely gets the job done, offering decent performance for a budget device.
The narzo 50 has a price tag of Php 9,999 in the Philippines. You can get one on Lazada or Shopee.
