With COVID-19 cases at an all-time high in the Philippines and new rounds of lockdowns hit the country, online grocery apps should be the places where you get stock up on essential goods. Whether it’s groceries, home repair items, pet care, or even office supplies these highly-rated online grocers let you shop from the safety and comfort of your home.
To make your life easier, here are six online grocery apps we’ve been using during the quarantine in the Philippines. Help the country out by ordering your essentials from them.
Online Grocery Apps Philippines:
- GreenMart PH
- eGrocery Store PH
If you haven’t tried this feature on your GrabApp, simply head on to the “Mart” page, and select any one of the nearest groceries or essential stores to your area. If you need a lot of shopping done from different stores, you can do simultaneous bookings up to 4 orders from different stores.
You can find this service on your PayMaya App. This in-app feature on the PayMaya e-wallet gives you access to groceries like Landers Supermarket, Uniliver Store, Ever Supermarket, and stores like Mercury Drug, AllHome, and select restaurants, all of which you can charge directly to your PayMaya e-wallet.
GoRobinsons gives you access to Rustan’s supermarkets, with the app delivering to the following areas: Manila, Taguig, Pateros, Paranaque, Quezon City, Mandaluyong, San Juan, Makati, Pasig, Marikina, Cainta, and Lower Antipolo.
GreenMart carries fresh produce, meat, as well as local and imported brands that you can choose from. You can shop as a regular user or as either a Business or Regular premium user which grants them special year-round discounts. The app lets you pay securely via Paypal, DragonPay, and even via COD.
eGrocery Store PH
If the other apps don’t have the items you need, try eGrocery Store PH as an alternative. You can choose the day and hour when your groceries arrive at your doorstep. Accepted modes of payment are all contact-less via Gcash, Paymaya, BDO and BPI bank transfer. The app currently serves Quezon City and North Caloocan areas but will eventually expand to include the rest of Metro Manila and nearby provinces.
PalengkeSentral is a Pinoy-centric market-app that lets you shop for seafood, meat, vegetables, and poultry to add your bayong before being delivered right to your doorstep. Account creation is simple, as you can use your FB credentials to create an account. In addition to fresh items, you can also browse from their humble selection of canned goods and grocery items. The app only accepts cash on delivery as their payment method.
Download the App from Google Play.
