Globe Reveals Future Plans at Innovation Fest 2022

As it continues to offer better services to its subscribers, Globe revealed all its achievements and future plans at Innovation Fest 2022. The event was unique, as it has held physically and digitally–the latter done via the Virtual Hangouts Metaverse.

One of the key highlights discussed at Innovation Fest 2022 is that Globe has partnered with Disney+ for special packages catered to their subscribers, along with a partnership with TapDMV for the Philippine broadcast of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Quatar. With these partnerships, Globe has prepared special offerings for GCash users: a mobile Disney+ subscription that starts at Php 69/month if availed from November 4 to 16, and an All-Access Pass to the World Cup via TapGo TV at Php 1,999 (with a Php 100 rebate).

Speaking of entertainment, Globe is bringing over Thai actors Bright (Vachirawit Chivaaree), Win (Metawin Opas-iamkajorn), Dew Jirawat, and Nani Harunkit to the Philippines from November 19 to 20–with the latter being exclusive to Globe subscribers. Globe is also a major partner for the upcoming Head in the Clouds Festival from December 9 to 10, and is once again an official partner for the upcoming concert of KPop girl group Blackpink from March 25 to 26 2023. Globe is currently raffling off tickets to Head in the Clouds Festival, while it is set to announce special raffles for the Blackpink concert.

As for innovations, Globe partnered with Google Philippines by providing scholarships through Google Career Certificates, a program where Globe Prepaid and TM customers may receive access to IT certificate courses.

For its internet offerings, on the other hand, Globe unveiled TMBayan Fiber WiFi, a prepaid WiFi service that aims to deliver reliable and affordable fiber connectivity in communities across the country for as low as Php 50 for 3 days of unlimited internet. There’s also Globe At Home being the first to offer Fiber-To-The-Room (FTTR) technology, which aims to offer up to 10x better speed and coverage compared to traditional WiFi connections.

Globe prepaid subscribers get a new data offering with Go+, with Go+ 99 coming with 8GB open-access data, 8GB for an app of your choice–both for 7 days–along with vouchers from top eCommerce platforms like Zalora, Lazada, and Shopee.

Globe is also active in promoting gaming: aside from being a major partner at ESGS 2022, Globe has GoGAMES, which is a fun and simple way for customers to earn rewards points by playing hyper-casual games on the GlobeOne App.

Lastly, there’s Globe’s push for the metaverse, where it is the first to offer a hybrid phygital experience for its subscribers. It also partnered with MetaverseGo for GUDI Squad NFTs.
