Laundrymats are getting smarter and switching to cashless transactions thanks to LG Commercial Philippines‘ efforts. The brand is offering customers a truly smart laundry experience at FastWash Bocobo in Ermita, Manila. Unlike your typical coin-laundromat, the LG Smart Laundry Lounge keeps up with the demands of the times with their smart washing machines that let you get your laundry done using an app on your phone, and by paying via cashless methods.

Powering the smart laundry system is LG’s wifi-ready washing machines: the LG Giant Max for regular laundry loads and the LG Onyx Titan Max for big loads. These two washing machines are able to wash and clean your laundry without you having to babysit them, and they’re both controllable via LG’s app on your smartphone.

The new laundry lounge also comes with an LG Styler that dries and sanitizes clothes or pillowcases and uses a smart system that assigns you to an available machine in real-time to help manage the flow of people and eliminates the need for a physical queue, something that’s important during these plague-ridden times.

To further ensure the sanitation of the items being laundered, each machine makes use of LG’s Hygiene care system which keeps these machines sanitized before, during, and after every wash giving customers peace of mind when they use these machines.

Since these washing machines are wifi enabled, customers can opt to leave their laundry and come back for it once they get an alert on the laundry app. There’s also an option to have your laundry picked up or delivered from the Laundry Lounge.
