MRT3 Releases Holy Week Advisory

MRT3 Releases Holy Week Advisory

Heads up guys!

For those who will be commuting during Holy Week, the management of MRT3 has released an advisory regarding its operations. For their Holy week schedule, there will be no MRT3 from March 28 to April 1, with operations resuming on April 2.

The MRT3 will undergo maintenance activities during the said three days, with the goal of bringing the number of working trains to 15 according to a report. A few weeks ago, the parts needed to refurbish vital components of the MRT3 was delivered. Two days ago, at least 12 trains are operational amidst repair efforts.

“The spare parts we need are already there. We are able to address [issues] immediately. There are no commuters who force open our doors. Hopefully, this would continue,” DoTR Secretary Arthur Tugade said in an interview.

If you ask us, we hope that DoTR can utilize the new MRT trains to ease the lives of commuters.
