And still the government does nothing

Many of us commute using the MRT everyday to get to work. I personally use the MRT to go to events in Makati (I’m based in the North) because it allows me to avoid driving in perennially congested EDSA. I know how bad the lines can get sometimes, but I never knew just how long they get during peak hours in the morning and in the evening. The photo above, originally shared by Charille Villa to ABS-CBN News, shows just how bad the lines get in the morning. If you’re not familiar with the place in the picture, that’s the Quezon Avenue Station of the MRT, and by our estimation in Google Maps, the line is about 130 meters long to the station itself. Sadly, this isn’t a one time thing – commuters of the MRT regularly have to go through long lines like this everyday. Just check out the video below:

You’d think the government would try and address this problem, right? Nope. They’re too busy going after people who try to innovate their way out of the terrible traffic problem in the Philippines. Good job guys.
