The much-awaited A7 IV full-frame mirrorless camera is coming to the Philippines, and Sony revealed its pre-order promo and official price.
To recap, the successor of the A7 III uses an all-new 33-megpixel full-frame, backside-illuminated Exmor R sensor that features 759 phase-detection AF points for 94% coverage and real-time eye autofocus for humans, animals, and birds, and an updated IBIS system that can provide up to 5.5 stops of stabilization.
The A7 IV borrows the BIONZ XR image processor found on the Alpha 1, making it capable of burst shooting at up to 10FPS with AF/AE tracking, 4K shooting at 30FPS using the full sensor, and 4K shooting at 60FPS in Super 35mm format. As a hybrid camera, the A7 IV can shoot 10-bit videos and has support for XAVC S-I intra-frame recording and S-Cinetone picture profile for professional filmmaking needs.
Aside from being a hybrid camera, the A7 IV is also ready for streaming. Connecting it to a computer will put it into streaming mode, letting you stream at up to 4K 15p UVC/UAC with a simultaneous internal recording of up to 4K60 resolution.
