NordPass, a password manager application, is once again revealing the most common passwords of the year. However, this is not to leak your password or to help hackers, but to educate people on the importance of using strong passwords. Check out the list of the most common passwords not just in the Philippines but also globally this year 2021.
According to the company behind NordPass, the study was done with the help of independent researchers specializing in cybersecurity. The study was conducted in 50 countries and they evaluated a total of 4TB worth of databases.Â
As expected, data have shown that people are still using the same weak passwords over and over again. In the Philippines, these are the most common passwords this 2021 according to NordPass:
