Xiaomi Announces its First 27-Inch 4K Monitor in China

While Xiaomi has announced a number of competitively-priced monitors, the brand does not have a 4K monitor in its portfolio. That changed when it announced its first 4K monitor in China with the Xiaomi Monitor 27-inch 4K.

Carrying model number XMMNT27NU, Xiaomi’s new monitor has a 27-inch IPS display with a 4K resolution, support for 1 billion colors, and 400 nits of brightness. Aside from having a high display resolution, the monitor is Panone-certified, having a color accuracy of delta E<1, a 99% DCI-P3 color gamut, a 100% sRGB color gamut. The monitor also has support for DC dimming and DisplayHDR 400.

It is even meant to be used for different applications, as it has a physical button to calibrate the monitor for scenarios like CG design, CAD design, and more.

When it comes to connectivity, the Xiaomi Monitor 27-inch 4K has 2 HDMI 2.1 ports, 1 DisplayPort 1.4 port, 1 USB-C port, 2 USB-A ports, and a headphone jack. The USB-C port supports data transfer, audio/video, and up to 90w power output.

Other features include vents for heat dissipation, a magnetic cover for hiding ports, and a hole for cable management. The monitor is flexible and can be used horizontally/vertically and be wall mounted.

The Xiaomi Monitor 27-inch 4K is priced at CNY 3499(~Php 27.7k) in China. It is currently on pre-order in China, and there’s no word yet if Xiaomi will make it available in other countries.
