Meet the Acer Iconia W4!
Acer has officially launched their newest budget Windows 8 powered slate, the Iconia W4, during an event last night. The 8-inch slate is the evolution of the previous iteration of the Iconia line, the W3. The Iconia W4 uses an Intel Atom processor, 8-inch (1280 x 800) IPS display w/ Zero Air Gap technology, 2GB of RAM, and naturally, Windows 8.1.

The W4 is priced pretty competitively (as competitively as a Windows machine can be anyway) at Php 18,900 with Acer’s full size, Crunch wireless keyboard and Office bundled in. You’ll also be getting Acer’s cool foldable magnetic cover that bends and folds with the device. This device is a great budget solution for people on the go who don’t want to give up the Windows platform and transition to iOS or Android tablets.
