ASUS Gaming goes official in the Philippines with the V16 (V3607) and X16 (K3605) as the brand’s latest budget offerings for the gaming market.

Both the V16 and X16 laptops are powered by up to an Intel Core 5 processor (Series 2) and up to a GeForce RTX 5060 GPU. You also get up to 16GB DDR5 RAM and up to 512GB SSD storage for fast and responsive performance. 

Both models have a 16-inch 16:10 Full HD display with a 144hz refresh rate and an 89% screen-to-body ratio. Audio is taken care of by Dirac audio technology and ASUS Audio Booster for rich, high-quality sound. For clear in-game communication, AI noise-cancellation and 3DNR technologies are available to enhance both voice and video conferencing. 

You also get expanded touchpads that are 40% larger than similar models and a comfortable ASUS ErgoSense keyboard. The keyboard has a Turbo Blue backlight as well as neon-highlighted transparent WASD and arrow keys to give it a gamer vibe. Port selection is generous where you get 2 USB-A ports, a USB-C port, an HDMI port, a DC-in jack, and an Audio Combo Jack. The X16 model adds an SD Card Reader.

Both the V16 and X16 have a 63wHr battery, MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability, and ASUS’ IceCool Thermal Technology with dual fan and heat pipes. They are also sleek: the V16 is just 1.8cm thick and 1.95kg light in a Matte Black chassis, while the X16 is 1.89cm thin and 1.8kg light in an Indie Black Chassis.

The ASUS Gaming Series officially arrives in the Philippines on May with models powered by the RTX 30 and 40 GPUs. The RTX 5060 model will follow in June. The official pricing of all models are as follows:
