It’s time for ASUS to give a refresh to their main ZenFone family with the ZenFone 4. Just like previous generations, the ZenFone 4 aims to bring the best possible specs at a killer price. As we wait for the phone to arrive at our shores, here’s a quick overview of its official specs during its launch in Taiwan:

The ZenFone 4 does not disappoint in the specs department: the phone is equipped with 6GB of RAM, and it boasts of an AMOLED Full HD display–a shift from the IPS displays used in previous ZenFones. In addition, the ZenFone 4 is equipped with a bigger 3300mAh battery, with support for fast charging.

However, the highlight of the ZenFone 4 is its dual rear cameras: Its primary camera is a 12-megapixel, f/1.8 aperture snapper equipped with Sony’s IMX362 sensor. As for the secondary camera, it’s a wide-angle one, with 8 megapixels and a f/2.0 aperture.
