Very cool innovation from Asus!
One of our pet peeves whenever we buy gaming mice is that sooner or later, the switches are going to wear out, rendering our high-performance and very expensive mouse nigh unusable. That’s where Asus’ Gladius gaming mouse comes in. Aside from having all the characteristics of a high-end gaming mouse (6400dpi optical sensor capable of tracking at up to 200 inches per second and 50G acceleration) the Gladius’ switches can be replaced by users when it wears out.
If you do manage to go through the 20 million clicks that the switches on Gladius is rated for, you can easily swap it out and even set your ideal click resistance for your favorite switch. Pretty cool.
