Research In Motion, makers of the BlackBerry smartphone, just sent out an invitation for a launch event for January 10, 2012 here in the Philippines. It wasn’t specified what products will be launching but it’s safe to assume the BlackBerry Bold 9790 and the BlackBerry Curve 9380 will be part of the event. These two phones were launched in the World First event in Jakarta, Indonesia last November.
Our sources say though that there will be additional models in the event which is surprising since that would mean that these models will be revealed in the Philippines first. I’m not aware of any other BlackBerry smartphone other than the two I mentioned above that’s not yet in our shores (please correct me if I’m wrong).
