Cherry Mobile Superion Explorer
Cherry Mobile just announced three new Android tablets under Php5,000. Leading the pack is the Cherry Mobile Superion Explorer, a 7-inch dual-core 3G tablet with a price tag of Php4,499. It has full call and SMS capabilities so it’s definitely something worth thinking about if you’re planning of giving a tablet gift to someone and you don’t want to empty your bank account, hehe. Partial specifications below followed by the two other new offerings of Cherry Mobile.

We’re a bit stumped though why it doesn’t have a front-facing camera (we’ll confirm if it does because it’s not in the photo or spec sheet sent to us by CM). Would have been ideal to have one since a lot of people do video calls now with the rising popularity of video chat apps like Google Hangouts and Skype.
