If you thought the Flare Mate was a bit too expensive for a phablet, then Cherry Mobile’s upcoming Touch XL 2 might be more to your liking. The 6-inch phablet is slated to be priced at just 3,499 whih is a lot cheaper than the Flare Mate.

Of course there’s a big reduction in specs to compared to its bigger brother – a 1.3GHz quad-core processor instead of a octa-core one, HD display instead of full HD, and just 1GB of RAM compared to 2GB in the Flare Mate. On the bright side, Cherry Mobile is supposedly throwing in free VR Glasses with every purchase, which also means that the Touch XL 2 comes with a full suite of sensors that allows VR use.
