DJI’s Mavic 4 Pro has an All-New Gimbal System

If a triple camera setup on a drone is not enough to make it stand out, DJI took the Mavic 4 Pro on another level with its new Infinity Gimbal system. This allows it to do a full 360-degree horizontal rotation and a 70-degree upward tilt, allowing you take more creative drone footage like barrel rolls and vertical-to-horizontal transitions in mid-flight.

The cameras on the Mavic 4 Pro are upgraded as well. Headlining it is a 4/3-inch 100-megapixel sensor with a 28mm  lens that allows you to capture up to 6K60 HDR footage. Accompanying it are two telephoto cameras: the short telephoto uses an 1/1.3-inch 48-megapixel sensor and has a 70mm lens, while the long telephoto has an 1/1.5-inch 50-megapixel sensor and a 168mm lens. Both telephoto cameras can shoot uo to 4K60 HDR video, and all cameras support D-Log/D-Log M and HLG color grading.

Flight performance is improved on the Mavic 4 Pro, with its 95 wHr battery rated for up to 51 minutes of flight time with a top speed of 90km/h and a 41km maximum range. Its O4+ Transmission System can deliver a 10-bit HDR live feed at up to 30km. You also get 6 low-light vision sensors and a LiDAR for better obstacle detection in near darkness, allowing the Mavic 4 Pro to avoid obstacles at up to 18m/s in low-light conditions.

There’s an optional RC Pro 2 controller that has a 7-inch Mini LED display, foldable joysticks, 128GB internal storage, built-in microphone, and support for vertical shooting.
