Fairphone is back with a new phone with the Fairphone 4, bringing in new features like 5G connectivity while maintaining its repairability with its modular design.

Like its predecessors, the Fairphone 4 boasts a high repairability score of 9.2/10 and is ethically produced using recycled materials, fairtrade gold, and ethically-sourced cobalt and lithium. Repairing it is east, with pars like the battery, the dual rear cameras, and the selfie camera being available for purchase.
As a modern, 5G-ready device, you get a Snapdragon 750G processor that is paired with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage. The display is a 6.3-inch IPS display with Full HD+ resolution, Gorilla Glass 5, and a dewdrop notch for the 25-megapixel selfie snapper.
The dual rear cameras consists of a 48-megapixel main camera with OIS and a 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor. Accompanying both cameras are ToF, autofocus, and color sensors. Keeping the lights on is a 3905mAh battery with support for 20w charging.
Fairphone commits to two major Android updates, software support until 2025, and a class-leading 5-year warranty. If that’s not enough, Fairphone hopes to extend software support as far as 2027 and hopes to release Android 15 for it come 2025.
The Fairphone 4 is priced at 579 Euros(~Php 34.3k) for the 6GB/128GB model and 649 Euros(~Php 38.4k) for the 8GB/256GB model. First shipments will start in Europe on October 25.
