Galaxy Tab S8 Series Specs Surface Ahead of Launch

While we still do not know when Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Tab S8 series, a comprehensive list of its specs and features of all three variants has surfaced thanks to WinFuture.

Let’s get on with the common specs: all three models will reportedly use a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, making them the most powerful tablets to date. The standard configuration option will be 8GB/128GB, with the Tab S8 and S8+ getting a 256GB option and the Tab S8 Ultra getting a 16GB/512GB variant. All three variants will have optional 5G connectivity, along with USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 port with support for DeX, quad speakers with Dolby Atmos, under-display fingerprint readers, and dual rear cameras that consist of a 13-megapixel main camera and 6-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. All three models will have magnetic pins for the S-Pen.

Going to the differences, the Galaxy Tab S8 will have an 8000mAh battery and an 11-inch LTPS LCD display with a 120hz refresh rate, along with a 12-megapixel selfie camera. The Galaxy Tab S8+ gets the same selfie camera, but comes with a bigger 10090mAh battery and 12.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120hz refresh rate.

The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra will be the biggest among the three, sporting a 11200mAh battery and a large 14.6-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120hz refresh rate and a notch for two 12-megapixel cameras–the additional camera is an ultra-wide-angle selfie snapper. The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra will have slimmer bezels compared to the S8 and S8+.

Aside from the specs, pricing for the Galaxy Tab S8 series has surfaced as well. The Galaxy Tab S8 in WiFi-only 8GB/128GB configuration will start at around 680 Euros(~Php 39.9k), while the Galaxy Tab S8+ with the same configuration will start at around 880 Euros(~Php 51.6k). The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra with the same configuration will start at around 1040 Euros(~Php 61k). Adding 5G connectivity to any of the three models will be an added 160 Euro premium.
