Low batt? Not with this

There’s very few smartphones that boast more than two days of constant use without charging. The THL 5000 is one of them, and now it seems like Gionee has their equivalent – the aplty named Marathon M3. The Marathon M3 sports a 5000mAh battery in a frame that’s only 10.4mm thick.

Gionee Marathon M3 specs

  • 1.3GHz quad-core processor
  • Mali-450 GPU
  • 1GB of RAM
  • 5-inch HD IPS display, 720 x 1280 resolution
  • 8GB of storage, expandable via microSD up to 128GB
  • 8-megapixel camera with flash, AF
  • 2-megapixel front camera
  • WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS, USB OTG
  • Dual-SIM
  • 3G, HSDPA
  • 5000mAh battery
  • Android 4.4 KitKat
  • 144.5 x 71.5 x 10.4 mm

Other specs include a quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage and a 5-inch HD display. Specs-wise it’s inferior to the THL 5000 (which sports an octa-core processor and more storage) but the Gionee Marathon M3 should have a far lower retail price compared to its THL rival. It’s been priced at around Rs. 12,999 in India or around Php 9504, which gives you an idea how much it’ll be when it’s brought here.

Mataas silang magpresyo kasi marami silang binabayarang extra for marketing.

looks like it’s confirmed running a mediatek soc, lol. save a little bit more for the thl 5000. hopefully somebody bitchslaps gionee to come to their senses. a quad mtk, 1gb ram 720p device for 10k… LOOOOOOOOL

Overpriced Gionee phones, really sad. I like their Elife E7 for it’s camera, but it’s currently priced at around 21k. For this price, you can already get Samsung S5, LG G2, HTC M8, Find 7a, Huawei P7, or Lumia 1020.

lol bat may nilagay pa na other specs include? eh nkasulat na sa spec sheet? 😛
