Google Services Might Return with the HONOR V40

With HONOR expected to officially unveil the V40 series on January 22, the now-independent brand has reportedly delayed its initial January 18 launch because HONOR intends to launch the V40 with Google Services according to some sources.

This does make sense, especially since Huawei has sold HONOR to Shenzhen Zhixin New Information Technology, making HONOR an independent brand.

The launch of the V40 come January 22 will be very interesting as this will be HONOR’s first launch as an independent brand. That being said, if rumors or Google services coming back is true, this will give the former Huawei sub-brand a much-needed competitive edge against the likes of Redmi, Realme, POCO, and iQOO.
