Both still have bezels, but have stereo speakers
We’re just hours away from the official unveiling of the Pixel 2 phones, and here’s the biggest leak so far for the two phones:
The Pixel 2 will sport a 5-inch Full HD display with a 16:9 aspect ratio and will come in three colors. It will also have a 2700mAh battery on board.
The Pixel 2 XL, on the other hand, will sport a 6-inch QHD display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. While the Pixel 2 XL has significantly thinner bezels compared to the Pixel 2, it is not considered as a true edge-to-edge device as previously rumored. Keeping the device running is a 3520mAh battery.
Both phones will be powered by a Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB RAM, a choice between 64GB or 128GB of storage, 12-megapixel primary rear camera, and front-firing stereo speakers.
Beyond the design and spec sheet, what’s worth noting is the UI of the Pixel launcher: While both are running stock Android Oreo, both sport a revamped UI with a relocated Google search bar.
Other interesting features for both Pixel 2 phones include an eSim, IP67 rating, and no headphone jack.
