After making rounds at TENAA last week, it would be a matter of time before the spec sheet of the Mi 6X / Mi A2 would surface.
There’s little detail to the Mi 6X until with this leak from Slashleaks:
Just like how the then-rumored specs of the OPPO R15 and R15 Dream Mirror Edition surfaced, the latest leak on the Mi 6X/Mi A2 is a bombshell, as it practically revealed almost everything.
From the said photo above, the Mi 6X/Mi A2 will sport a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display and will sport a Snapdragon 626 processor. RAM and storage configuration is at 4GB and 64GB, just like the Mi 5X/Mi A1.
As for the cameras, the Mi 6X/Mi A2 will have an upgraded dual camera setup, consisting of a 20-megapixel f/2.0 primary camera and an 8-megapixel f/1.8 secondary camera. The front camera gets an upgrade as well with 20-megapixel f/2.0 module. It will come with Android 8.1 out of the box.
The battery on the Mi 6X/Mi A2 is a bit of a downer, as it uses a smaller 2910mAh cell. However, battery efficiency may be a different story since the Mi 6X/Mi A2 has an upgraded processor.
With these two leaks, we are expecting Xiaomi to officially unveil the Mi 6X/Mi A2 soon enough, so stay tuned.
