HONOR Announces 5G-Ready Play 4 and Play 4 Pro

Affordable 5G phones from HONOR

Aside from the Play 4T and Play 4T Pro, HONOR adds two models under the Play line with the Play 4 Pro and Play 4. Both phones are 5G ready (Kirin 990 with the Play 4 Pro and Dimensity 800 with the Play 4) and come with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The Play 4 Pro has a 6.57-inch LCD display with a pill-shaped cutout housing two cameras: a 32-megapixel main snapper and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera.

Unlike most phones in 2020, the Play 4 Pro settles for a dual rear camera setup: a 40-megapixel IMX600y RYYB main camera and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and OIS. With its processor, the Play 4 Pro can shoot 4K videos at 60FPS. Keeping the lights on is a 4200mAh battery with 40w SuperCharge.

The Play 4, on the other hand, has a bigger 6.81-inch display with a punch-hole housing a 16-megapixel selfie snapper. It has a quad-rear camera setup comprising of a 64-megapixel main camera, 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, 2-megapixel macro camera, and 2-megapixel macro camera. The Play 4 has a slightly bigger 4300mAh battery but only comes with 22.5w wired charging.
