Honor Officially Launches 9X, 9X Pro In China

Pop-up life with the new Kirin 810

Honor has officially taken the wraps off of their new mid-range smartphones today in China. The Honor 9X and the pro version, the 9X Pro replaces the company’s venerable 8X smartphone in their lineup.

The new phones have notch-less display, thanks to the pop-up camera that adorns the tops of most mid-range phones nowadays.

The main differentiator between the 9X and the 9X Pro are the cameras: the Pro model has a triple camera module with a 48-megapixel main camera, 8-megapixel wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The regular version does away with the wide-angle camera which results in a dual-camera module.

RAM and storage also differentiate the two models: the regular 9X comes with 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of storage, while the 9X Pro comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of storage.

Whatever version you pick, you get a 6.6-inch full HD LCD display, 16-megapixel front camera, 4000mAh battery and Huawei’s newest mid-range processor, the HiSilicon Kirin 810.
