HTC still makes Smartphones, launches U19e and Desire 19+

Two mid-rangers with an interesting set of specs

HTC broke its silence on smartphones by launching two new mid-range offerings in Taiwan. The U19e is the higher end of the two, sporting a Snapdragon 710 processor paired with 6GB RAM, 128GB internal storage, and a 3930mAh battery.

You get a notch-free 6-inch Full HD+ IPS panel on the U19e, along with a quad camera setup: on the back, you have a 12-megapixel f/1.8 main camera and a 20-megapixel f/2.6 telephoto camera while on the front, you get a 24-megapixel f/2.0 selfie camera and a 2-megapixel Iris Scanner for face unlock.

The more affordable Desire 19+ has a 6.2-inch HD+ IPS display and is HTC’s first phone with a waterdrop notch, which is home to a 16-megapixel selfie camera. Powering it is an Helio P35 processor paired with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage. The Desire 19+ settles for a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 13-megapixel main camera, 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and 2-megapixel depth sensor.
