HTC Unveils First 5G Phone with the U20 5G

For those wondering what is HTC up to, the Taiwanese brand is all well and good as it unveiled two new phones with the U20 5G and Desire 20 Pro.

The U20 5G is the brand’s first 5G phone, and comes with a Snapdragon 765G processor paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. Up front, you get a huge 6.8-inch display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a punch-hole for the 32-megapixel selfie snapper. It is also the first HTC phone to have quad rear cameras: 48-megapixel main camera, 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, 2-megapixel macro camera, and 2-megapixel depth sensor. Powering it is a 5000mAh battery with 18w wired charging.

The Desire 20 Pro, on the other hand, is HTC’s latest 4G phone, which is powered by a Snapdragon 665 processor paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. It comes with a smaller display at 6.5-inches, along with a more conventional 19.5:9 aspect ratio and a punch hole for the 25-megapixel selfie snapper. It shares the same quad-rear camera setup, 5000mAh battery with 18w wired charging, and rear-mounted fingerprint scanner like the U20 5G, but adds a headphone jack to the mix.
