Huawei Unveils the Hole Punch Display-Sporting Nova 4

Comes in two different camera variants

Huawei finally unveils the punch hole display-sporting Nova 4 a few days after Samsung unveiled their own with the Galaxy A8s. Unlike Samsung’s offering, the Nova 4 is more of a premium mid-range offering with its Kirin 970 processor paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.

It is also better than the Galaxy A8s with its triple rear camera setup styled like the P20 Pro. The vanilla Nova 4 has a 20-megapixel f/1.8 + 16-megapixel f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle + 2-megapixel f/2.4 depth-sensing triple rear camera setup while the higher end version has a 48-megapixel f/1.8 + 16-megapixel f/2.2ultra-wide-angle + 2-megapixel f/2.4 depth-sensing triple rear camera setup.

Other features include Android Pie out of the box, a 3750mAh battery with 18W fast charging, and a 25-megapixel f/2.0 front camera

Huawei Nova 4 Specs

The Nova 4 with the 48-megapixel main rear camera is priced at CNY 3,400 (~Php 26.2k) while the one with a 20-megapixel main rear camera is priced at CNY 3,100 (~Php 23.9k). While we reported earlier that Huawei will not bring the Nova 4 to the Philippines, we might see a different phone instead—most likely a Nova 4i.
