Before the much-anticipated announcement of its foldable phone, Huawei announced its updated version of the MateBook X Pro at its press conference in MWC 2019.
The MateBook X Pro (2019) retains its aluminum unibody chassis, with a thickness of 4.99mm at its thinnest point and 14.6mm at its thickest point. As for the display, the MateBook X Pro (2019)’s updated 13.9-inch screen trims down the bezels for a 91% screen-to-body ratio with a 3:2 aspect ratio. You get a 3000×2000 resolution, along with 450nits of brightness and 1500:1 contrast ratio on its LTPS touchscreen display.
For the internals, Huawei updated the WiFi speed of the MateBook X Pro (2019). This time, it is capable of speeds of up to 1733mbps. As for ports, you get two full speed Thunderbolt 3 ports, a USB 3.0 port, and a headphone jack. The Thunderbolt 3 ports are now capable of handling 4K displays and external GPUs. Powering the MateBook X Pro (2019) is a Core i7-8565u processor and an MX250 discrete GPU.
The MateBook X Pro (2019)’s unique features include an integrated power button and fingerprint scanner and a quad speaker setup with support for Dolby Atmos. Huawei added a few smart tricks on the MateBook X Pro (2019) that include Huawei Share OneHop, finger gesture screenshot, and clipboard sharing.
The MateBook X Pro (2019) is priced at 1599 Euro (~Php 94.4k) for the i5/8GB/512GB/MX250/Touchscreen variant and 1999 Euro(~Php 118k) for the i7/16GB/1TB/MX250/Touchscreen variant.
The MateBook 14 is priced at 1199 Euro(~Php 70.8k) for thei5/8GB/512GB/MX250 variant and 1499 Euro(~Php 88.5k) for the i7/16GB/1TB/MX250/Touchscreen variant.
