Check this massive bad boy out
Aside from the P8, Huawei also unveiled its mammoth brother, the P8 Max. The P8 Max sports an absolutely massive 6.8-inch display, though the resolution is a bit disappointing, at just 1080p.
Huawei P8 Max Specs
- 2.2GHz Kirin 935 64-bit octa-core processor
- Mali-T628 GPU
- 3GB of RAM
- 6.8-inch full HD display, Gorilla Glass 3 protection 1920 x 1080 resolution
- 16/64GB of storage
- 13-megapixel rear camera
- 5-megapixel front camera
- Dual SIM, dual LTE
- WiFI, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS, NFC
- Android 5.0.2 Lollipop, Emotion UI
- 4360mAh battery
While the P8 Max is one big boy, it stays relatively slim, coming in at just 6.8mm. To keep heat away, the P8 Max uses a 7-layer heat conducting structure, along with a full unibody construction that Huawei says allow the P8 Max to run 5 degrees Celcius cooler than competing phablets.
Inside runs Huawei’s own Kirin 64-bit 935 octa-core processor that runs at a speedy 2.2GHz, along with 3GB of RAM and a choice between 16/64GB storage capacities.
As far as optics go the P8 Max also comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera though it’s yet unclear if it has the P8’s same imaging pedigree.
Powering the monster is a large 4360mAh battery that can keep the lights on for over two days, according to Huawei.
Huawei’s pricing the P8 Max at €550 (Php 25939) for the 16GB variant and €650 (Php 30655) for the 64GB variant.
