Huawei’s Honor 6A Is An Affordable, Metal-bodied Phone

It’ll likely show up with a different name

Huawei’s online-only sub-brand Honor has always managed to undercut its competitors (including Huawei’s own phones) with their solid specs, design and pricing. That hasn’t changed with the company’s newest smartphone, the Honor 6A. The 6A brings a full metal body along with solid hardware with affordable pricing, pretty much par for the course for the sub-brand.

Honor 6A specifications

The Honor 6A has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor with an Adreno 505 GPU, and has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. There’s also a 3GB/32GB variant as well, and both variations of the phone support microSD expansion (up to 128GB), a fingerprint scanner, metal body and Android Nougat, along with Huawei’s EMUI 5.1.

The Honor 6A is priced at RMB 799 or around Php 5.8K for the 2GB/16GB version. The 3GB/32GB version of the Honor 6A goes for RMB 999 or Php 7.2K.
