itel already has two versions of the P55: one being a 4G version, and the other being a 5G version. Both are priced at under Php 6k, and the same goes for the P55+, which itel recently made available in the Philippines. The third variant under the P55 series goes for a different marketing pitch by boasting 45w charging at under Php 6k.
That’s a good bragging right despite not having 5G connectivity like its 5G-ready sibling, as the majority of phones priced at under Php 6k usually offer only 18w charging. 45w charging is a big boost, as it only takes around a little over an hour to top up the P55+’s 5000mAh battery. If that’s not enough to make the P55+ interesting, the variant that’s available in the Philippines comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage–emphasis on the latter since most budget phones would settle for only eMMC storage.
While it looks different from the regular P55 with a dual-tone, vegan leather option for the Royal Green colorway, the rest of the specs are the same. That includes a 6.6-inch 90hz display, a 50-megapixel main camera, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a Unisoc T606 processor. Overall, it is still an interesting offering for under Php 6k.
The itel P55+ is priced at Php 5,799 in the Philippines and is available at Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok Shop
