Has a competitive price to boot

Over at China, Lenovo launched its newest mid-range phone with the S5. The China-exclusive smartphone (for now) is slated to compete against Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 5. Lenovo’s offering comes with a 6000-series aluminum unibody shell, along with a color + monochrome dual 12-megapixel rear cameras.

Rounding up this interesting offering from Lenovo is a Snapdragon 625 processor. Here’s a quick look at its specs:

What makes the S5 quite interesting is its price: Offered in three variants, pricing are as follows:

4GB/64GB – RMB 1199(~Php 9.9k)

4GB/128GB – RMB 1499(~Php 12.4k)

Judging from the prices, the S5 is priced competitively against the Redmi Note 5. No word yet if Lenovo will be bringing this phone to our shores.
