Lenovo outs their first LTE enabled smartphone, the Vibe Z

Lenovo has just launched their first ever LTE smartphone (outside of China at least) the Vibe Z. The Chinese company’s latest superphone promises to deliver blistering LTE speeds on a 5.5-inch 1080p IPS display (400 ppi) on a device that’s only 7.9mm thick. Powering the thing is a quad-core, Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. We’re guessing Intel’s LTE option for their Atom chips isn’t quite ready yet, thus the use of Qualcomm’s solution. As far as imaging is concerned, it looks like the Vibe Z will be a powerhouse – according to the spec sheet, it’ll be toting a 13 megapixel camera along with a 5 megapixel front facing camera. Pretty sweet.

The Vibe Z will be running Android 4.3 out of the box and according to the company will be priced at roughly $549, or around Php 24408 before taxes and should land sometime in February.

Can’t wait to see this land in the PH!
