Leaks of the Upcoming Nexus 5 (2015) Start to Emerge
Google is set to unveil their new Nexus line-up on September 29. Rumor has it that they have two offerings: a second generation Nexus 5 by LG and a Nexus 6 made by Huawei. Leaks are already popping up left and right, especially on the Nexus 5 (2015).
Tech site Android Pit posted the leaked photo above from which they claim they got from a “trusted source”. If you compare the build to the previous leaks though by other sources it looks very consistent.
For the specifications, here’s what we have so far:
Nexus 5 (2015) Leaked Spec Sheet
- Snapdragon 808 Processor
- 3GB RAM
- 5.2-inch Quad HD Display
- 13.0-megapixel primary camera with Dual LED Flash
- 5.0-megapixel secondary camera
- 3G, 4G, LTE, HSPA+, Bluetooth
- Rear-mounted Fingerprint Scanner
- 2,700mAh Battery
- USB-C Port
- Android 6.0 Marshmallow
Based on the spec sheet, it’s definitely has a lot of potential to be a very solid device. Hopefully though this is the first Nexus to have a decent camera because all the previous ones weren’t flagship-level performance.
We’re looking forward to see the official launch at the end of this month during Google’s event. We’ll try our best to get our hands on a unit as soon as possible as well so we can review it.
