Better late than never
With Android Q coming in a few months, LG is catching up in updating some of its phones to Android Pie. The V30 is the latest to receive it, as European users have been notified of the update.
According to a user who has received the update, you get the July 2019 security patch along with improvements with notification animations.
The update should roll out to other V30 users around the world in the coming weeks.
