Vernee, a China-based smartphone manufacturer, has announced on their website that they will be launching the Helio X30-powered Vernee Apollo 2 at the upcoming MWC 2017. The handset is the first to pack MediaTek’s new 10-core processor, which is aimed at stealing the premium tier spotlight from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon SoCs.

Here’s what we’ve got so far on the Vernee Apollo 2, which is a flagship offering from the Chinese OEM. No details yet on the Apollo 2’s display size, as well as the other key specifications.
