Motorola Launches Moto G5s and Moto G5s Plus in the Philippines

Modest upgrades with a competitive price point

Motorola today has officially launched the G5s and G5s Plus, the successors to its best-selling midrange phone line. Aside from the processor and display, the main difference between the G5s and G5s Plus lies in the cameras: The G5s has a single 16-megapixel f/2.0 rear camera and 5-megapixel f/2.0 front camera, while the G5s Plus sports a dual 13-megapixel f/2.0 rear camera and 8-megapixel f/2.0 front camera.

The updates may be modest, but it’s worth noting that both models will be upgraded to Android Oreo in the future as confirmed by Motorola.
