MyPhone Officially Outs the SuperD D1

A few months ago, we got a preview of a device from SuperD that allowed you to consume 3D content without the use of glasses, the D1. The SuperD D1 features a lenticular display, coupled with eye tracking tech, to be able to display 3D effects and it gives users better viewing angles when using this feature on the device. We’ve already spent a bit of time with the device and talked to Super D’s Overseas Sales Director, MK Loo (you can check out in the video above), but before you watch the video above — here are its specs.

SuperD D1 specs

We really want to show you how the 3D effect looks, but unfortunately it cannot be properly represented without seeing it in person. The best possible comparison we can give you so you guys get an idea about how it works is the 3D effect that the Nintendo 3DS has, but thanks to the eye tracking tech it’s a lot better than that.

The SuperD D1 will be distributed by local brand, MyPhone, and is priced at Php 11,999. The device will be available via Lazada and the MyPhone online store starting January 30. The first 1000 buyers of the SuperD D1 will also get a free VR headset along with the purchase.
