Nokia 2 Launched, Promises 2-day Battery Life

The new phone launches in India

HMD Global’s newest budget phone, dubbed the Nokia 2, is now official. The device has been outed in leaks in the past few months and has finally been launched in the Indian sub-continent.

Nokia 2 specs

The smartphone is obviously aimed at the budget segment of the market, sporting a Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of expandable internal storage as well as a 5-inch LTPS HD display protected by Gorilla Glass 3. The phone also comes with Android Nougat and more importantly, a 4,100mAh battery.

That large battery paired with the energy-efficient nature of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 212 processor means that the phone will have excellent battery endurance. HMD Global is saying that the phone is capable of running for two days without charging.

HMD Global is pricing the Nokia 2 at around 99 Euros, or Php 5.9K converted to peso.
