OPPO previewed its latest version of ColorOS in China with ColorOS 6.0. Said to be designed for borderless phones like the Find X, ColorOS 6.0 comes with a gradient layout where colors transition to white towards the bottom. The use of white is meant to create a sense of space and to reduce clutter on the display. OPPO is using a new font called OPPO Sans for ColorOS 6.0.
Under-the-hood improvements include AI application quick freeze, a feature that “freezes” the app instead of shutting it down, and up to 7% better overall power consumption.
ColorOS 6.0 will be available to OPPO phones by 2019 and is expected to come together with Android Pie.
