OPPO Launches R15 and R15 Dream Mirror Edition in China

Just around the same time Vivo launched the X21

Before Vivo launched the X21 and X21 UD, OPPO unveiled their new flagship phones with the R15 and R15 Dream Mirror Edition. Specs-wise, all of the details revealed in the leak slides confirmed the official specs of both models.

Among the key specs include an Helio P60 processor for the R15 and a Snapdragon 660 processor for the R15 Dream Mirror Edition, and a 6.28-inch Full HD+ OLED screen for both models. In addition, both variants have 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, along with a glass back and a polished metal frame.

Aside from the processor and battery capacity (the R15 has a 3450mAh battery while the R15 Dream Mirror Edition has a 3400mAh battery, the key difference between the R15 and R15 Dream Mirror Edition involves its cameras.

For the R15, you have a 16-megapixel f/1.7 Sony IMX 519 primary camera, a 5-megapixel f/2.2 secondary camera, and a selfie-centric 20-megapixel front camera. On the other hand, the R15 Dream Mirror Edition swaps the R15’s 5-megapixel secondary camera for a 20-megapixel f/1.7 secondary camera. As for selfies, the R15 Dream Mirror Edition uses an 8-megapixel snapper that boasts of a face portrait mode.

Both models will go on sale on April 1 in China. The R15 retails CNY 2,999 (~Php24.7k), while the R15 Dream Mirror Edition will sell for CNY 3,299 (~Php 27.2k).
