OPPO Reno8 Series Global: What’s Different with the China Version?

After making its launch in China last May, OPPO makes the Reno8 series official globally. While the vanilla Reno8 is identical to the one announced in China, the global Reno8 Pro is the Pro+ in China. This means that the global market will not have the Reno8 Pro with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor.

The Global Reno8 Pro gets a Dimensity 8100-Max processor and uses an IMX766 main camera with OPPO’s Marisilicon X NPU. The display is a 6.7-inch 120hz AMOLED panel with support for HDR10+ and a punch-hole for the 32-megapixel selfie shooter that has autofocus. On the other hand, the vanilla Reno8, uses a Dimensity 1300 processor and a 6.43-inch 90hz AMOLED display. The rear camera setup on the vanilla model is simplified, as you get a 50-megapixel main camera and a pair of 2-megapixel cameras.

Both phones come with a 4500mAh battery that supports 80w charging.
