POCO Unleashes Snapdragon 860-Powered X3 Pro

Roughly six months after launching the X3 NFC, POCO is finally making its higher-end sibling official with the X3 Pro. Headline features of the POCO X3 Pro include a Snapdragon 860 processor, UFS 3.1 storage, and a price that is meant to disrupt the whole competition.

POCO X3 Pro Specs:

As a midrange killer offering, the Snapdragon 860 serves as an upgraded version of the Snapdragon 855 and 855+ from 2018, offering a 2.96Ghz clock speed with its Kryo 485 cores, along with an Adreno 640 GPU. As a compromise, the Snapdragon 860 does not have a 5G modem–which explains why the POCO X3 Pro only has 4G/LTE connectivity. To keep temps stable, the POCO X3 Pro gets a D5 copper heat pipe and multi-layer graphite for heat dissipation.

Like the vanilla model, the Pro model also gets a 6.67-inch Full HD+ IPS display with a 120hz refresh rate and a punch-hole for the 20-megapixel selfie snapper. You also get the same 5160mAh battery with 33w wired charging, stereo speakers, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and NFC. You also get Android 11-based MIUI 12 out of the box.

For the rear cameras, you have practically the same setup as the vanilla model, though the Pro swaps the 64-megapixel main camera for a 48-megapixel snapper.
