Canon finally revealed the official price of the PowerShot V1 in the Philippines, two months after it was made official in Japan (and a month after it went official globally). The good news is that the official price of the PowerShot V1 in the Philippines is lower than we expected at Php 54,998. That makes it around Php 2k less than the PowerShot V1’s official price when we saw it in Japan during CP+ 2025.

Canon Philippines is accepting pre-orders for the PowerShot V1 until April 30, and those who want the complete vlogging package can add the HG-100TBR tripod grip for only Php 2,000.
What makes the PowerShot V1 interesting is that it is a video-first digital camera with a new 1.4-inch CMOS sensor that can shoot up to 4K60 videos with a 1.4x crop. It has a fixed zoom lens that has a 16-50mm focal length equivalent and f/2.8-4.5 aperture range, and can shoot in 10-bit Canon Log 3. You get a built-in 3-stop ND filter and a cooling that that allows the PowerShot V1 to continuously shoot 4K30 video for as long as 2 hours.
The PowerShot V1 has a DIGIC X Processor and Dual Pixel Autofocus inherited from EOS R cameras, giving it snappy autofocus.
